OFF-SITE/ON-SITE PIANO INSTRUCTION

BETH'S PIANO in MOTION ("BPM") offers on-site, private piano instruction in our cozy home studio located in East York, Toronto, Ontario (Coxwell Ave. & O'Connor Dr.), near the picturesque Cullen Bryan Park, which overlooks and provides access to the beautiful Taylor Creek Ravine!

We also offer piano instruction in the comfort of your own home using your piano or keyboard* (Please see FAQS). We come to you in TORONTO EAST YORK and surrounding areas, including the Beaches, Leaside, Scarborough, North York, and more!

We also come to you in YORK REGION including Whitchurch-Stouffville and surrounding areas! We especially recognize the difficulty of those in the more remote areas to get to piano studios, so we offer a convenient way to learn the piano without having to travel!

Our lessons are for children (age 4 onward), youth, teens, adults, and seniors, and includes the following:

PIANO REPERTOIRE (RCM and/or other genre piano piece study)
TECHNIQUE (proper posture, hand and finger coordination, finger dexterity, etc.)
THEORY (Pitch, Notation, and Transposition; Rhythm and Meter; Scales and Key Signatures; Intervals; Chords and Harmony; Melody Writing, Form, and Analysis; Music History; Musical Terms and Signs, etc.)
EAR-TRAINING (Melody Playback, Pitch Direction/Pattern Identification, Triad Quality Identification, Rhythm Identification & Clapback)
SIGHT-READING (Rhythm Reading, Sight Playing, etc.)

Above are facilitated and taught with adjunct activities in addition to book work.
